NEW EQUESTRIAN TRAIL for
CARROLL COUNTY
Sauk Rail Trail
160TH AND GRANITE
The Carroll County Saddle Club has gotten a THUMBS UP for permission from the DNR to incorporate a equestrian trail along the side of the Sauk Rail Trail. This is AWESOME NEWS for all horse lovers in and around the area. Last year we were given the permission to start building the new equestrian trail. The club and volunteers started and hopes are to tackle a total of 3 miles this year. This will open up trails in the Hazel Brush Water Shed Project also. This is a 2 mile section of wood area. Plans are to eventually run the trail from Swan Lake to Lake View at some point. This will be the beginning of a huge asset to the equine industry. We will have an awesome trail right here in our own backyard.

I have it set up as the administrator that I can keep it private, for club members only. I will have to except your request to join the club. This way we can share ideas, pictures and all with club members only! It will be a great way to stay in touch and keep everyone update.
